A little calm, just for you

Accessibility

Wellaro is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible. We are actively working to improve accessibility and welcome your feedback.

Our commitment

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where practicable. We have not yet completed a full independent audit against this standard — we will not claim certification we have not earned. Where gaps exist, we are working to address them.

Current measures in place include:

  • Semantic HTML landmarks (main, nav, header, footer)
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Colour contrast ratios meeting or exceeding 4.5:1 for body text
  • Descriptive alt text on informational images
  • Form labels associated with their inputs
  • ARIA labels on navigation landmarks

Keyboard navigation

The entire site can be navigated without a mouse:

Tab / Shift+Tab
— move forward and backward through interactive elements.
Enter / Space
— activate buttons, links, and form controls.
Arrow keys
— navigate within menus, select options, and move through date pickers.
Escape
— close open menus, drawers, and dialogs.

If you encounter any element that cannot be reached or operated by keyboard, please let us know using the contact details below.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas that are still being improved:

  • Some complex booking-flow date and time selectors may not be fully optimised for screen readers — we are reviewing these.
  • Uploaded documents (PDFs) may not be fully accessible to assistive technologies — contact us if you need content in an alternative format.
  • Live availability updates use ARIA live regions; behaviour may vary across screen reader and browser combinations.
